● FAQ:

The STT Material is not locking!

  • This is an rare issue that CAN happen when Poiyomi Pro is used instead of Poiyomi Toon. In case you are facing this problem, remove the Poiyomi shader from your project by deleting the "_PoiyomiShaders" folder from your project (back your project up first!!). Afterwards, re-import the latest Poiyomi Toon shader.

Note: You might need to reassign some materials in your project and/or on your avatar to use Poiyomi Toon, but this should fix the issue with the STT material not locking on build!

My text has a weird shadow!

  • Some worlds will cause a shadow to appear behind the text. To fix this, open the "!STT_*" material, navigate to "Shading -> Light Data" and turn off the "Pixel lights (important)" setting. This seems to not just be a problem with my textbox, but just a general issue with the new poiyomi-based textbox in some worlds.
